How these tools work
Online Stamp Doc is a private, browser-only workshop. You pick a tool, drop a file, and download the result. The PDF or photo is read by your own browser. We do not run a conversion farm in the cloud, so there is no inbox of other people’s documents on our side.
That design is also why each tool has a size cap (10MB) and why some heavy files feel slower on a phone than on a desktop. The work uses this device’s memory. If a tab struggles, close other tabs or split the job into smaller files.
Which tool should I open?
Start with Stamp Maker if you need a seal, address stamp, or “received” mark on a page. Use Add Text to PDF for a typed name or date on a scan that has no form fields. Use Fill PDF Form only when the file already has clickable fields. JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF are the short paths for camera photos and screenshots; Image to PDF accepts mixed types. Passport Size Photo and Compress to 20KB exist because many ID portals ask for those exact limits — they are not a government photo studio.
What we will not do
We do not unlock password-protected PDFs, run OCR on photographed pages, or convert Word/Excel behind the scenes. Those jobs need software that is allowed to see the file. If a page looks empty after Extract Text, the PDF is probably a picture of text, not a text layer.
Ads and privacy
The site stays free with Google ads after you choose Accept ads or Essential only. Ads are not supposed to cover the tool, jump in as a full-screen wall between clicks, or appear on a screen that has no real content. Files you open are still not sent to Google as document uploads. Read the Privacy Policy and Security Guide if you handle contracts or IDs.
